The combination sole re-engineered as a single unit: the rubber and EVA sole layers formed together, so there is no interface left to delaminate.
What it is
A one-piece moulded sole removes the weakest sentence in the combination-sole story: the glue. Both layers are formed in a single moulding sequence, so the part that reaches your line has no bond line to peel and one fewer process to inspect.
Fewer assembly steps downstream is the quieter benefit: the sole arrives as one unit and attaches as one unit, which is why warranty-sensitive and high-wear programmes specify it.

Hardness and density
We quote hardness for this construction per programme rather than publishing a window. The figure our own parameter review returned for it was not recorded against a durometer scale, and a hardness stated without saying whether it is Shore A or Shore C is not a specification; it is a number that will be read the wrong way in a purchase order. Send the shoe and the target and we will come back with a figure we can hold, scale included.
A single moulding sequence forms both layers, so the tool carries both geometries and the process window has to satisfy both materials at once. Tooling is more involved than either single-material family, and the saving comes back downstream: one part to receive, one part to attach, no bond line to inspect.

Questions buyers ask about this
How is a one-piece sole different from a bonded combination sole?
Both put rubber against the ground and EVA under the foot. The combination sole bonds two separately moulded parts; the one-piece forms both layers in a single moulding sequence, so there is no bond line to peel. The trade is flexibility during development: with one tool carrying both geometries, changing one layer means revisiting the tool.
What hardness do you quote for the one-piece construction?
Per programme. Our own parameter review returned no usable figure for this construction (the combined system came back blank), so rather than publish the family reference as if it were ours, we quote against your brief. Send the shoe and the target and we will come back with a figure we can hold, with the durometer scale stated.
Does removing the bond line change what happens on our assembly line?
Yes, and it is the quieter benefit. The sole arrives as one part and attaches as one part, so there is one fewer interface to receive, inspect and record. Warranty-sensitive and high-wear programmes tend to specify it for that as much as for the peel risk.
